Detailed CT Imaging
Fast, Clear, and Precise.
Computed Tomography, commonly known as a CT or CAT scan, uses X-ray technology and computer processing to create detailed, cross-sectional images of structures inside the body.
CT can provide detailed views of organs, soft tissues, blood vessels, bones, and other internal structures, making it useful for a wide range of diagnostic needs.
At Resilience Imaging, we provide diagnostic CT imaging in a comfortable, patient-focused environment, with each examination tailored to the specific area and clinical need identified in your physician’s order.

COMMON CT EXAMINATIONS
DETAILED IMAGING FOR A WIDE RANGE OF NEEDS
CT scans provide fast, high-resolution, cross-sectional images of the body, helping your care team detect, evaluate, and monitor a variety of conditions. Your examination is tailored to the specific area and clinical question identified by your physician.
BRAIN & HEAD
CHEST & LUNGS
Evaluate the brain, sinuses,
skull, and surrounding structures.
BLOOD VESSELS
Visualize arteries and veins throughout the body.
Assess the lungs, airways, heart, and chest structures.
SPINE
Evaluate the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
ABDOMEN & PELVIS
Evaluate abdominal organs, pelvic structures, and more.
SOFT TISSUES
Assess muscles, tendons, and surrounding tissues.
BONES & JOINTS
Assess bones, joints, and surrounding structures.
INTERNAL ORGANS
Detailed evaluation of organs and surrounding structures.
Why CT Imaging?
CT combines detailed imaging with fast image acquisition,
allowing radiologists to examine internal structures from multiple views.
Detailed
Cross-Section Imaging

CT captures a series of images, or “slices,” through the area being examined. These images provide detailed views of internal anatomy that may not be available from a conventional X-ray alone.
Soft Tissue &
Bone Imaging

CT can provide detailed visualization of both dense structures, such as bone, and softer tissues and organs, making it useful for a wide range of diagnostic needs.
Fast Image Acquisition

Many CT scans can capture the necessary images within minutes, providing detailed imaging efficiently.
CT With or Without Contrast

Not every CT examination requires contrast. Depending on the type of study, contrast material may be used to make certain organs, tissues, or blood vessels easier to visualize.
Contrast may be administered orally or through an IV depending on the examination.
If IV contrast is used, some patients may experience a brief warm sensation or metallic taste. These sensations are typically temporary.
Whether contrast is needed will depend on your examination and physician’s order. If contrast or special preparation is required, our team will provide instructions before your appointment.

THE PROCESS
WHAT TO EXPECT
DURING YOUR CT SCAN
When you arrive, our team will review your examination and any preparation requirements with you.
During the scan, you’ll lie on a table that moves through the opening of the CT scanner. Your technologist will position you for the images and may ask you to remain still or briefly hold your breath while certain images are captured.
The imaging portion of many CT examinations is relatively quick, although the total appointment time will depend on the type of study and whether contrast or additional preparation is required.
Your technologist will be able to see and communicate with you throughout the examination.
Once your scan is complete, your images are reviewed and interpreted by a qualified radiologist, who prepares a detailed report of the findings.
